Santorini is famous for its beaches with its special wild beauty.
In the southeastern part of the island, you will find Perivolos, an organized beach with fine sand and clear but steep waters, Perissa, one of the most famous beaches of the island due to the black sand, Kamari, a large beach under Ancient Thira, Vlychada, with its white rocks, reminiscent of a lunar landscape, Monolithos, an organized shallow beach and Avis.
In the southern part of the island, stretch the Red Beach, one of the most picturesque of the island, the White Beach surrounded by high white rocks, Gialos Balos, with black pebbles and the dark sea, Thermi, Mesa Pigadia, Almyra and the Kampia.
In the northern part you will find Ammoudi, descending 200 steps from Oia, Armenis, Baxedes or Paradiso, Katharos, Columbus, a secluded beach with warm waters due to the underwater crater, Pori, Vourvoulos, a quiet cove with black pebbles and Karterados.
